These can be used to simply increase safety and prevent accidents but can also be combined into packages for DVS, CLOCS and FORS compliance.
From October 2024 the Direct Vision Standard (DVS) is changing and all vehicles over 12 tonnes must meet at least a 3 Star safety rating before a permit will be issued

Blind Spot Camera
By adding a blind spot camera to the nearside of your truck you will dramatically reduce the risk of a collision with the pedestrian or cyclist. A near-side blindspot camera is now compulsory for all HGV’s who operate within the London area. Wosson offer a range of blind spot (or side cameras as they are sometimes called) which can simply display an image on the in cab monitor or can also be integrated with our full HD Wosson Pro MDVR system to provide the driver a clear view of what cant be seen in the vehicles mirrors.
Left Turn Warning Systems
Warning cyclists and pedestrians that they are in an HGV’s danger zone has been proven to reduce collisions and save lives. Our turn left warning systems can be fitted to any vehicle and will provide vulnerable road users with an audible warning that the vehicle is about to turn left “warning this vehicle is turning left”. These are now compulsory for all HGVs operating in the London Zone.
Reversing Alarm
Wosson offer a range of reversing alarms from simple “beep beep” systems through to “white noise” systems, with or without night silent modes. All of our reverse alarms are commercial rated so guaranteed to stand up the tough life they will face when fitted to a heavy goods vehicle!
